Directions

Coming from Florence (Firenze):

Take the highway 'autostrada' A1 south (towards Rome/Roma) until exit Valdarno. (Don't take the exit Incisa/Regello which the GPS might suggest, as this route is a lot slower and has many radar speed controls).

Coming from Rome (Roma):

Take the highway 'autostrada' A1 north (towards Firenze/Bologna/Milano) until exit Valdarno.

At the exit go right following signs towards Montevarchi, after that you want to follow signs towards Siena (Via Chiantigiana) for the more general direction and then as you get closer follow signs towards Cavriglia. This is about 5 km going uphill.

In Cavriglia at the first round about make a right, exit towards Castelnuovo dei Sabbioni. After about 5 km you will pass through a village called Neri, after further 2 km you will reach Castelnuovo dei Sabbioni. At the entrance of Castelnuovo the road curves sharply to the right and you will make a left turn (the road you want you take is basically straight ahead when you look. The road is marked with a traffic sign indicating no buses). You are now driving through a residential area and up a hill. At each of the next two forks in the road bear left - you will now see signs for Casignano.

At the last fork the road narrows winding uphill (there is a traffic sign suggesting snow chains and 10 km/h speed limit) with a bunch of turns and curves for about 800 m. After a sharp left turn as you exit the woods you will see a stone wall on your left (to your right is a small waterhouse). That wall is the start of our property. Follow it just past the house to a big gate on your left. Across the street from the gate on your right there is a separate flat parking area (pebble stones) belonging to the house which you can use for parking.
